Imagine if you could rock this to your next masquerade. Maiko Takeda created this collection for her graduation project at Central St. Martins. The collection is influenced by the idea of shadows and gravity. Simply wearing shadows as jewelry. Each piece starts with a sheet of metal in which thousands of holes are drilled to create the photograph-like image which appears on the wearers skin.
" The collection questions weather shadows might obtain a quality in themselves and can adorn the body as jewellery" (Maiko Takeda).
Can you make someone love you again or do you let the one person who has ocupied a large portion of your heart slip right out of your hands? Maybe if you reinvent yourself you could win your love back. How far will you go to change? And why? If only you could blindly stay in that moment were you feel safe, comfortable and loved, everything would be ok and your love would come back. Even if they had become some creature without veins, wihout lungs, without a heart at least your love was present again in some form. "Beautiful reckless woman you will be the death of me."
